Get to know them

Originally from Tanzania and Swaziland, Francis and Taiwan grew up in a Christian family. Francis, who comes from a family of seven children, began serving at a young age in church. He faced rejection and peer pressure for his Christian beliefs during secondary school at a boarding school, which was a challenging time. Feeling a lack of peace and distant from the Lord, he decided to fully commit to the Lord after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Human Resources.

In 2015, Francis joined Operation Mobilization (OM) and served in various capacities with OM Tanzania, including being part of the leadership team and serving as a sports ministry leader. He attended several leadership trainings offered by OM. Taiwan served as a teacher in Zambia. Responding to God’s call, they joined the Logos Hope in May 2021, serving in different departments such as People Development and Community Engagement in the Caribbean, Middle East, Africa, and Europe. They are currently preparing to return home to Tanzania with Operation Mobilisation Africa

Their ministry

Back in Tanzania, Francis will be working with OM Africa Sportslink to develop leaders who will accelerate the multiplication of disciple making through sports. The OM vision is to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the Least reached and developing leadership to see the vision taking place in different parts of Africa is an important part. At the same time Francis will be helping with ministries in Tanzania while Taiwan is committed to fully take care of children and help OM Africa with the administration.
