Get to know them

Originally from the Parisian region, Rémi and Aurélie are the parents of two beautiful children. Previously, Rémi was a tennis coach, while Aurélie was a school librarian. As a couple, they were actively involved in church life, participating in youth groups, worship, and home groups. In 2020, they made the decision to leave everything behind to answer God’s call by undertaking training at the Geneva Bible Institute as a couple.

Afterwards, Rémi decided to continue his training and serve as a trainee pastor in a church in Val d’Europe for 2 years, dedicating himself to preaching, discipleship, and counseling. Aurélie, on the other hand, committed herself to the women of the church, responding to a specific call to care for mothers. Currently in the Republic of Ireland, they are involved in planting a church in a rural area where the Gospel is rarely proclaimed, working with a congregation of about twenty people.

As they prepare to return to France, they are passionate about seeing areas where the gospel is not proclaimed discover the beauty of the Good News in Jesus Christ.

Their ministry

While pursuing his final year of training at the Geneva Biblical Institute to obtain a pastoral diploma, as well as at the Nogent Biblical Institute for Biblical languages (Greek and Hebrew), accompanied by the church planting network Acts 29 Europe Francophone, Rémi aspires to begin his service in a church planting endeavor in the coming years, where Jesus Christ is not preached and where there are few or no churches. The vision is to continue learning alongside a pastor-planter in rural areas, with the ultimate goal of forming a team to plant churches in spiritually barren areas. Rémi and Aurélie share the desire to serve together within a congregation. For him, this involves preaching, discipleship, and evangelism. As for her, her service focuses on counseling and discipleship for women and mothers.
