Get to know them

Originally from the Paris region, married, and parents of three children, Philippe and Myriam have committed themselves to full-time ministry. Philippe was a business owner of a consulting firm, and Myriam worked as a maternity care assistant in the delivery room before changing direction in 2021 to serve the Lord on board of the humanitarian ship Logos Hope by Opération Mobilisation in West Africa and the Caribbean. After this experience, Myriam went at All Nations Christian College for a 4-months training in mission and they both completed at the Geneva Bible Institute a certificate in Theology. Now, as a family, they arrived in September 2023 to serve in Quebec, a region where the Gospel is sparsely shared, with less than 1% of Christians, and where the population is unfamiliar with evangelical churches.

Their ministry

Quebec is a forgotten region due to its geography and the American context. However, Christians represents 0,6% of the population and in 10 years, according to missiologists, one in two churches will be without pastors or leaders for the 80,000 Christians. Alongside Hope Church and the Lead Pastor Yanick Ethier, Philippe, will serve as pastor intern and be equipped in the next 3 years in areas such as leadership, discipleship, teaching, administration, mobilization, and service, while pursuing a Master’s in Biblical Leadership. Myriam, will be trained to serve in the ministry of worship and biblical counseling to connect the Bible to various life challenges with women and mothers.

Their vision and dreams

Philippe and Myriam desire to see the Francophonie mobilize to share the love of God in the least reached areas, including Quebec, where people have not yet had access to the Good News.
