Their story
Originally from the Réunion Island, a French department in the Indian Ocean, Danny discovered faith and was baptised during his teenage years. It was during his university studies, while on a trip to Brazil, that he fully dedicated his life to God. After completing his studies in France, he began his engineering career in the Aix-en-Provence region. At the same time, two workers had started planting CAEF churches, and Danny decided to join them as the leader of the University Evangelical Center (Foyer Évangélique Universitaire). It was during this period that he married Kathia. Both are deeply involved in their local church and have taken part in several continuing education programs, such as the CAEF “Training for Leaders” (REF) program and the Regional Training Center for Church Planters (CFRI).
Since 2021, Danny has been recognized as an elder of the CEP church in Aix-en-Provence, and Kathia also uses her gifts to serve the community, particularly in children’s and worship ministries. Together, they have two children.

Ministry
After several years of working as an agricultural engineer, Danny left his job to fully devote himself to serving God and the CAEF network, focusing on three main areas. In his local church, CEP Aix-en-Provence, he continues to serve as an elder, actively involved in preaching and teaching ministries, pastoral care, and church leadership.Within the CAEF churches network in the Southeast region, he is engaged in the “Together to Multiply” ministry, where he serves as a committee leader. In this role, he helps organize inter-church gatherings, develop shared resources, and strengthen relationships between communities.
At the same time, he is pursuing theological studies at the Jean Calvin Faculty in Aix-en-Provence, deepening his knowledge in areas such as biblical languages, church history, and systematic theology, in order to be fully equipped for ministry.
Together with Kathia, their desire is to be fully invested in God’s work, with the goal of being sent out soon to the island of Réunion.

Vision and dream
Danny and Kathia have a deep desire to see God transform lives. If God continues to open the doors, they plan to move to the island of Réunion in September 2027 to serve full-time through pastoral ministry, mobilization, and support within the CAEF church networks.
