Originally from Nicaragua, Jareth grew up with his grandparents as his father abandoned him and his mother needed to work abroad., Raised by his grandparents, he began working at a very young age to support his siblings. As a teenager, he grappled with emptiness and found himself in unhealthy habits, struggling with feelings of abandonment and contemplating suicide.

However, a pivotal moment occurred when he heard the Gospel in Guatemala. This encounter led him to commit his life to Jesus, discovering his identity in Christ and experiencing forgiveness. For a year, he partnered with Jesus-followers, engaging with indigenous communities and children in the Guatemalan countryside. Teaching teenagers, preaching on the streets, and reaching out to the homeless, Jareth actively demonstrated God’s love in practical ways. His journey then led him to volunteer on board the Logos Hope, serving for two years in the Caribbean Islands and Africa.

Now back in Chile, Jareth has continued his mission, serving among teenagers with Operation Mobilisation.

Despite his own childhood and teenage challenges, Jareth has a heart for encouraging and discipling young individuals, sharing the love of Christ with them. His desire to be an encouragement and point these teenagers towards Christ is a testament to his compassionate and empathetic nature. By connecting with them and growing together in faith, Jareth is creating a positive impact in their lives and providing a source of support for those struggling in various areas.

Jareth would love to serve in Germany and camps and dreams of establish a foundation for kids and teens in social risk situations in Asia. His vision is to make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children to reflect God’s love in action.
