Get to know him

Originally from South Africa, Barnard Modimakwane discovered the profound meaning of God’s love at Pentecostal Holiness Church, Shammah Worship in Mogwase. In 2007, Barnard embarked on his Missions Discipleship Training with Operation Mobilization. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2009, he served on-board the Doulos Ship, followed by the Logos Hope Ship from 2010 to 2013. During this time, he played a crucial role in the advanced preparation team, gaining valuable experience in budgeting, event planning, and engaging with government officials and leaders from various church denominations all around the World.

With 15 years of dedicated service to OM South Africa in various ministries, Barnard has developed strong leadership skills, enabling him to create value through effective design and timely project delivery. His heart’s desire and passion revolve around seeing the African church actively participating in the Great Commission, both locally and globally. He envisions this through fervent prayer and the sending of workers into the harvest field, particularly among the least-reached people of the world.

Barnard Modimakwane stands as a devoted and impactful leader, inspiring others to engage in missions with the same passion and purpose. His mobilizing strategy in South Africa is using the majority church strength of prayer and equipping the church with evangelism training, share prayer information about least reached people of the world. Also he has become part of local Pastor’s fellowship where he serves different churches according to their needs and strength.
