Get to know him
Originally from Normandie (France), Bastien is married and a father of two little girls. It was during his teenage years that he encountered God and quickly became involved in serving within the local church and Christian summer camps. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Human Resources, Bastien pursued a Master’s degree in Humanitarian and Social Management, undertaking missions in Lebanon and the Philippines as part of child sponsorship programs. Upon returning to France, he continued his calling by working with the Christian NGO SEL France and various French associations, specialising in management and project management of humanitarian and migration projects in several African countries.
After a career as an entrepreneur, working as a leadership and management consultant for associations, Bastien took a leap of faith and obedience by joining the missionary organization Mission Aviation Fellowship. As the Director of this organization, which spreads the Gospel to people without access through the management of humanitarian aircraft, Bastien is passionate about seeing Christians engage in mission and witness.
At the same time, he is involved in church planting in rural areas in France, notably in Saint-Malo and Tinteniac, serving as a pastor.
His ministry
The MAF operates where no one can or wants to go, sending planes to the most remote areas through pilots. As the director, Bastien has received the call and mission to mobilize prayer partners, missionaries, and donors to support MAF’s mission internationally, especially in areas unreached by the Gospel. Thanks to MAF’s planes, hundreds of Christian organizations can reach the most isolated peoples in the world.
Furthermore, through church planting, Bastien is involved in establishing healthy churches where there are few Christians, such as in Tinténiac in rural areas.
Vision and dream
Bastien dreams of seeing disciples who make disciples everywhere in the world, including in the most remote regions, by sending workers and pilots through the MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship). He is also committed to the local church and to witnessing in rural areas in Bretagne.
