Their story

Rodrigue was born in Lomé, Togo and raised in West Africa. His early professional life built a successful career as a sales executive. Meanwhile, Abbie, who was born in Trinidad and Tobago, pursued a career in marketing, finance, and accounting, with a solid foundation in both the corporate world and the nonprofit sector. Rodrigue has been actively involved in mission work since 2011, with a special focus on evangelism among Muslims in northern Ghana, Hindus in the Indian Ocean region and different short term in Southern Africa, where he served in Swaziland, Namibia, Zambia, and South Africa, as well as aboard the Logos Hope Ship, Abbie’s mission journey has also been extensive. She began serving in Southern Africa, particularly in South Africa, Swaziland, Namibia, Botswana, and Zambia. Later, her work took her to Lake Tanganyika, an area where she served for a longer period. Eventually, she moved to Mauritius and later Ghana, where she continued her mission alongside Rodrigue.

As a couple, Rodrigue and Abbie have served in various regions, including Mauritius and Ghana. Their work has not only impacted the lives of the individuals they’ve served but has also enriched their own perspectives, deepening their understanding of the importance of cultural sensitivity, humility, and perseverance in mission work.

As Rodrigue and Abbie prepare for their mission in Albania, they reflect on the ways their past experiences have shaped their approach to mission work. From their professional backgrounds to their years of service across Africa and beyond, they are confident that their journey has equipped them for this new challenge. They look forward to building relationships, sharing the message of hope, and continuing to serve communities in need, in Albania.

Their ministry

Albania is one of the poorest country in Europe. Ranked top 3, people in Albania are mostly poor and can’t reach out to medical needs, infrastructure needs, education and transport specially in villages. The Alonsoh family are planning to serve in the the district of Lushnje, a village with no infrastructure for health care needs. They will be engaging the different people groups in church planting activities with the hope to plant churches with a local partner church, around the 100 villages around Rrogozhinë.

Consider partnering with the Alonsoh family and become a vital part of the Gospel's progress in Albania as they would like to continue serving God.
